PUBLIC ART: My artwork is included in DESIGNING THE WORLD’S BEST PUBLIC ART, CONTEMPORARY COLOR, and ARCHITECTURAL ARTS AND SCULPTURE SOURCEBOOKS #14, 15, and 16.

-”Calypso” and “Waves” at the Great Hall, Port  Everglades for Broward County Public Art and Design Program, 1998, consisting of a 178′ x154′ fiber optic and aluminum ceiling sculpture and a 4′ x 88′ wall sculpture, neon and plexiglas column capitals, and a color scheme for the total space.  This terminal is used by the Princess Cruise  Lines in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

-”Atlantic Allusions” (55′ x 25′) of fiber optics and plexiglas in a four-story glass curtain wall and its companion piece, “Atlantic Illusions Quartet” a four piece neon, paper and Lucite artwork in the entry lobby at Florida Atlantic University’s College of Education Building in Boca Raton, Florida was commissioned by Florida Art in State Buildings Program in 1995.

-Broward County Art in Public Places Program commissioned “Florida Landscape V;  Fort Lauderdale” for its permanent collection.  It was first exhibited in the fort Lauderdale Museum of Art’s “South Florida Invitational” in 1992.

-The Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art commissioned a neon, brushed aluminum and wood bas-relief artwork, “Lions of Judea” (7’6″ x 10’3″ x 7″)for the permanent collection.

-I have been a finalist in the $500,000. SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) Frankfort Transportation Center competition in Philadelphia in 2001, the $300.000 Duke Power Company monumental exterior wall facing the Carolina Panthers Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. (1995), a lift station exterior by the Phoenix (Arizona) Arts Commission’s Public Art Program, and I was invited by Miami-Dade Art in Public Places in 1999, to submit for the Miami International Airport central Collection Plaza, and in 2000, I was a finalist at the university of Minnesota School of journalism and the New England Aquarium in Boston in 2001.
